Former Suits stars Patrick J Adams and Sarah Rafferty, who have found success with their rewatch podcast, have extended an invitation to all their former co-stars, including the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, to appear on their show. Earlier this year, Adams shared that Meghan had reached out to them after they launched their new series, Sidebar: A Suits Podcast, in response to the growing cult popularity of the legal drama that catapulted them to fame from 2011 to 2019.
After wishing them success with the series, Adams hinted at the possibility of persuading his former on-screen love interest to join them. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Adams, 43, elaborated on what it might look like if he and Sarah could make it happen.
He said: “Obviously, we informed the cast and said, ‘Look, guys, we really want to do this thing, and we are telling our stories. This is not about telling anyone else’s story.’ Especially with Meghan, she’s had, obviously, such a crazy life since the end of the show.”

Meghan Markle’s Suits costar hints she could join TV show’s rewatch podcast: ‘Everybody’s invited’
Meghan “sent a lovely note in full support of the show and asking us how she could help,” he added. “We’re very excited to see if and when there’s a crossover and we can do that.”
If Meghan managed to squeeze some time out of her hectic schedule for a special appearance, it can be anticipated that her post-acting life would be off the table for discussion. The focus would likely center on her celebrated time as Rachel Zane in Suits, up until 2018, reports the Mirror.
Adams remarked: “Our North Star with Meghan is, like I said, we are never going to tell anybody else’s story. We’re super interested in just celebrating what she did on the show.”
He further honored her contribution by adding, “She brought Rachel to life in such a beautiful way, and that was such an important part of my experience on the show because Mike and Rachel are such a huge part of that journey for me,” referencing his character, Mike Ross, who famously married Rachel in the series. “So, for our purposes, it’s just about celebrating that and completely staying away from anything outside of that.”
Expressing hope for her participation, Adams concluded: “Hopefully, along the way, she’ll come and join us for a conversation. That would obviously be incredible.”
