Nick Cannon has said he attended one of Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs’ notorious parties when he was just a kid as the rapper remains in federal custody in New York City
Nick Cannon has revealed he was just a kid when he first experienced one of Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs’ wild parties.
The father-of-12 made an appearance on Friday’s episode of The Breakfast Club podcast, where he and host Jess Hilarious shared memories of being at the iconic gatherings.
Cannon recounted being in the Big Apple, anxiously trying to secure entry to one of these legendary events: “I have even been to one when I was a kid, like 16, 17, standing outside. I’ve lived my truth. I remember standing outside, you know, trying to get into a Puff party out here in New York. Like how the ‘One More Chance’ video look, that was real stuff out here. Like people standing at the door, who can get in and stuff. Bad Boy parties was official in New York in the late ’90s.”

Combs has strongly denied all allegations against him and pled not guilty in court. His trial is set for May 5, 2025.
Combs was arrested last month and later charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution. He is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits federal trial.
A pre-trial hearing was held on Thursday to decide what evidence will be used in the case. It also addressed accusations from Diddy’s defense team that the government had leaked the infamous Cassie Ventura video, which shows Combs assaulting a woman in a hotel before dragging them by their hair. The Daily Mail reports prosecutors dismissing these claims as “baseless” and denied the defense’s claims that the case against Diddy is racially motivated.
Given the severity of the crimes he’s accused of, if convicted of racketeering, trafficking, and transportation to engage in prosecution, Combs would serve a minimum of 15 years in prison. Alternatively, if the judge imposes a harsher sentence, he could receive a life sentence.
